Plane Transporting Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Because of Fracture in Windshield

A plane transporting the US defense secretary was forced to make an unscheduled landing in the Britain on Wednesday following a fracture was identified in the aircraft's cockpit window, per an official statement which verified that Hegseth was safe.

"The plane touched down based on standard protocol and all passengers, such as Defense Secretary Hegseth, is unharmed," a press officer stated in a public statement.

He was traveling back from a quick journey to the city of Brussels during the flight.

This occurrence isn't the initial instance that a American defense plane ferrying a top government figure has encountered technical problems.

In a previous incident this year, a American military jet transporting Marco Rubio to the city in Germany was compelled to turn back to the US capital after experiencing a mechanical problem.
