Everywhere you go, enthusiasts continue to ring the death bells for the green team. Xbox was recently outsold by a lesser-known competitor. Xbox fan sites have started writing on PS5 topics for the first time. 2025 was an era of significant turmoil for Xbox and Microsoft. However, judging purely by what's coming to Game Pass in 2026, it becomes clear that the green gaming company continues to plan to engage players with compelling titles on its flagship service.
The duo of games that are immediately available today, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, aren't the showstoppers. The true anticipation is for the upcoming titles to Game Pass soon that's worth getting excited about.
Come mid-January, the subscription service will add the underappreciated Star Wars Outlaws, a sprawling adventure that breaks up the standard Ubisoft formula with an intergalactic heist adventure. An additional significant inclusion is Resident Evil Village featuring the towering Lady Dimitrescu, which our 2021 review called "the perfect cocktail of horror and action."
However, the more modest titles coming to Game Pass soon are quite compelling. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, an unjustly ignored roguelite that is incredibly fun, arrives January 7th — and you should try it regardless of whether you played the first Lost in Random game.
The game set in a ruined Britain from last year might get its hooks in you within just a quarter of an hour.
Atomfall, a game blending infiltration and resource management by the developers behind Sniper Elite, also warrants your attention. Those with the top-tier subscription also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to look forward to.
All in all, these titles aren't industry-shaking releases to Game Pass, and they don't represent massive exclusive blockbusters that justify the service in the first place. Yet, this selection are very dependable. The lineup provides a solid mix of old games you might have missed and relatively recent releases that failed to receive the spotlight they warranted upon launch — transforming them into excellent choices to get a second chance on Game Pass.
Be prepared to bid farewell to The Grinch Christmas Adventures, however.
